The worst i've personally seen. I'll be able to get most of my money back from the t-case, trans and probaly scrap value of the thing. I was thinking about saving it, but it's so far gone.

I probably do the same. Shame cant do a frame swap though. I really do wish my burb had a strong beefy frame

Removed a few pieces off of the bad motor that I can re-use on the good motor.
Swapping heads isn't in the plans right now as I'd rather not tear into the motor. But, does anyone have any tricks for removing frozen manifold bolts? They are so rusted that they have fused into the manifold. Bolt extractor isn't working. I am just about to shear off the bolt heads then use heat and vice grips to remove the bolt once the manifold is off.
Any better suggestions?

Got one of the doors swapped over, and damaged the wiring harness in the process...***! I'll be looking for a new one soon.

I guess GM made 2 different shades of white? Not a big deal, but I may do a raptor liner paint job..haven't decided yet.

Played around with some paints today. I like the VHT Wrinkle Black. Painted a few things , they should all come out looking like the top of the storage box when they are fully dry.

Not sure what your end goals are with this truck, but on mine, I've been using a foam roller with rustoleam flat white paint as I fix/replace stuff. It ends up with a slightly similar appearance as bedliner, but you can still sand it off easily for future work etc.

The plan is to do Raptor Liner dark grey

Got that pesky passenger side manifold off...plenty of 4 letter words, heat, sockets and a mallet. Just have one stud remaining which I have to get out.

I ordered some JBA Shorty SS headers, custom valve covers, and a new oil pan. Time to start making this thing nice.
