Yea it definitely hurt my wallet for a while.

Was mainly wanting the 3/8 impact but for the tool 2 batteries and the charger it was half the price of the full set. And got the stubbys since I have none and I am constantly fighting my standard length ones.

Nothing crazy, but i picked up a needle scaler. Never realized how handy these things are.


Also a little something for the boys.

the 16 foot craftsman tape is a rockstar, it helped with the construction of the door that is underneath.

Lotsa new stuff recently. Long story short, Got laid off in april, sat around on unemployment for 4 months. Put some apps in here and there just kinda fishing for something better paying. I ended up going back and the day i went back i got an offer i couldnt refuse so i put my 2 weeks in and packed up. Took 4 loads to get all my stuff out of the old shop and into the new one. Needed more storage so i went to hf and picked up a couple carts... for now. My old remline box will sit on the blue cart. I had to exchange the white one today because 2 bearing strips fell out, it had some decent gouges and the whole thing was tweaked bad the drawer didn’t even latch. While i was there i picked up a couple magnetic power strips, bumpers for the carts, and some other odds and ends. Nothing spectacular.

I told my snap on guy to find me a 40” slide top cart in storm grey, white or orange. Well see what he comes up with Wednesday. IM pretty sure one of those will replace all 4 of my current work boxes so hopefully he comes through.

2 ton shop crane acquired. $200 and change with a 20% off coupon at Harbor Freight. Going to go snag a free LQ4 sometime in the next few days!

Putting this together with my dad tomorrow. Beer will be involved.

Hope the engine hoists are made better than the jackstands! A good deal ain't so great after people get hurt or stuff gets broken.....
