its not discontinued its just weeks out. some of these vendors are wack. so jegs said its a ship on 7/21. sdtruck said they couldnt get it. realtruck sadi they couldnt get it. so i got the pro comp thinking u couldnt get it. so i just had to cancel that order.

so jegs had the kit, superlift k274 for 96-99 k2500 8lug suburban or pick up. they have kit k273 for 93-95 k2500 8lug suburban or pick up.

strange how the others are trying to claim they dont make it. if i were superlift id be pissed

Me too thats the lift i wanna go with. It used to come with bilstein shocks but I don’t think that’s offered anymore. So you did end up getting the superlift?

Are you going to do a build thread? Would be interested in how your steering linkage comes together. I've been fighting a bit of slop for some time and don't like the single bushing linkage in the pro comp kit. Would much rather have the quasi heim joint linkage from the RCX or Superlift kits.
The drop bracket Centrelink just seems to flex a little more than I'd like and puts a lot more stress on the steering box and idler arm bracket.

yes im going to do a build thread but its gonna take time to put it all together so for now im going to put all the info i have in the post i start for a 94 suburban k2500 6.5td.
for the time being. this is just somewhere to talk and throw ideas or info to each other. which so far has worked out great.

for the pro comp kit, im not sure what. to say have u tried to tighten the steering box adjustment? has anyone with a pro comp kit every have the same issue? can u maybe by the part from rcx or superlift? or when i get the bracket ill give the measurement of the width and what not maybe u can swap out the centerlink and join linkage u speak of. i never looked into it that far. but im starting to understand why people stay away from certain kits. glad i got the superlift kit, if i couldnt im not sure what id do. i guess maybe tuff country or rcx.

so lastnight i got the itch. i bought the PA123 3" body lift. i bought all the bushing for the control arms, end links, motor mounts, trans mount, front and rear sway bar. all but the body mounts becuase i got the pa123. i know im gonna have to mod the fan shroud and pass inner fender to clear to turbo. gonna hold off on installing the body till after the suspension is done.

How big of tires are you planning on running with 6-7" of suspension lift and 3" of body lift? That poor 6.5td is going to be smoking!

Not sure if anyone else with a procomp lift has had the issue, might be worth a dedicated thread to get input.
I did install a brand new blue top steering box pre-tuned and with the needle bearing mod to the cap to keep everything true under load.

I was dreading it because i never really messed with suspension before but i done it all myself and I enjoyed it and wouldn’t be scared to do it again. You may already know but I’m gonna give you some tips on it, for upper control arms i would just buy the whole arm, I didn’t and wasted a ton of time getting bew bushings in. For the bottom arms drill a whole bunch of holes in the bushings and get a metal rod or something and knock them out from the center after holes are drilled. It takes some persuasion but it worked and as for getting them back in I don’t have a press or know anybody with one so i paid a shop $40 i did press the ball joints In myself though with a kit from harbor freight.
