I really like my shackle flip from off road design. It nets about 4" of lift. You could then add a leaf or a small block.

If you had a Suburban I have some lift springs for it that have been re-arched but the Suburbans have a shorter leaf pack by a couple of inches.

ive heard the shackle flip is bad for on road use? can give u wheel hop and stuff. do u have that problem?

Actually the shackle flip rides much smoother. The flatter your leaves are the better they can flex.
The blocks are what give you wheel hop and axle wrap because you have given the axle more leverage on the spring.
If it didn't work off road design wouldn't make it. They are a pretty no nonsense shop, no marketing BS, just good solid parts and helpful customer service from guys who use their own parts.
I guarantee the **** I spoke with for my pro comp shocks doesn't drive a pro comp lifted truck.

ill have to give ord a call today and talk to them about it. but i trust what u say. im just not sure on what is the best thing to do. ty for the info.

so i after talking to the guys over at ORD who are awesome might i add. im getting a 7" lift with the shackle drop 4 in the rear shackle and 3 in the front shackle. its really hhe drop mount the does i believe. could be wrong tho. i will correct and link this in the build thread i do for anyone with a suburban k2500.
