Hello, I'm wondering what y'all would put on 15x8 -12offset wheels for tires??? I was thinking 275-60 rear and a 255-60 on front! All suggestions and comments are appreciated and welcomed. I plan on a 2/4 drop in 2021. Has 235-75's on steel wheels now. Thanks

Stock height, no drop, with 15x8's? A 275/60/15 would fit the wheel width OK but be a fairly short tire on the rear, lots of fender gap, if that doesn't bother you. Here's an example of that exact setup, although it's 275/60's front and rear. Stock height '93 ECSB on 15x8 Rally's. Looked fine to me as far as stock height trucks go. I'd avoid an even shorter tire in the front unless you really want more rake.

That much of a change will set your speedometer off a significant amount too; you can recalibrate your '90 speedo easily enough though. I did a write-up on it: https://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/showtopic.php?tid/258562

The gap won't bug me to much, and thanks for such detail on your setup and the speedo adjustment write up information! I guess I'm going to have to play with a couple different sizes seen a ton of info on this forum. Just wanting the old school hot rod look of the 70's and 80's. Had the truck almost 16yrs now and well I dont have to use it as a daily driver anymore, so it's time for some improvements

I got a set of 275/60/15 a few weeks ago, had 235/75/15.

I've been super happy with them. Changed the whole stance of the truck. I went back and forth between doing 255/60 on the front but I'm glad I went 275/60.

I'm on 15x8 -9 offset, stock suspension.
