Will it reach to an intake manifold bolt that has a stud coming out of it? Do you have a Check engine light on?

Ground it to whatever bolt it will reach too. Make sure it's a clean connection. Then see if the code goes away. Years ago I had a shop replace my intake manifold gasket and they left off a ground. It kept throwing an O2 code too I believe.

It came off of the stud at the top of the bell housing. Whoever put that junkyard tranny in there failed to put it back on.

Interesting observation. I bought this vehicle off of Los Angeles County, I wonder if they get parts from yards? Anyways do you know what components this sends to ground? Wondering if it sends the 02 sensor to ground as the sensor only has one wire that connects it to the rest of the harness and maybe that’s giving me an 02 code.
