Got a gasket set to fix the leak. At some point gunna pick up a new water pump as well, 50 bucks is cheap insurance. Also not positive the alternator is charging so I'll need to stick my meter on the battery when I fire it up this weekend. And alternators are cheap also, about 45 bucks. not used to cheap parts due to my truck getting expensive ****. And also grabbing new belts because if these ain't the original 40 year old belts if be amazed.

Nice to see these older GM sedans getting some love. They're actually pretty decent transportation if you do the basic maintenance. Kinda like 400 series but hey they were designed around the same time....
Nice project, interested to see how the 5.3 swap goes.

Got her loaded up at at her new home. One tire came off the bead, so i need to pull that off and find a better used tire. Something died in the car so it needs another good clean. Then I really would like to use my buffer to cleanup the paint oxidation. That will definitely give me motivation to get the oil leak fixed among other items.

About the car all emptied of the stuff I was storing in it pulled out the back seat and pulled the trunk liner out which I knew that the floor was just bad so I got a vacuum at all and then vacuum and shampoo the carpet in the front seat as it is stinky in there. Pulled the two most carcasses out and underneath the seat before I took the photo was nothing but mouse nest made out of the insulation from the floor so I'm going to get cleaned up I got to get that smell out of there and then I got to do a little bit of whole patch and it looks like.
