No air on driver vent only

Sounds low, what is your battery and alternator voltage?

Blower should be near alternator output when on high speed. Lower speeds go through a resistor and voltage is less to slow down the fan.

Check grounding to a metal part in the dash and also through the blower ground wire to rule out a ground wire issue.

Battery and alt are good. Check the ground that goes onto the motor?

With a meter, check the voltage from the purple wire to an unpainted metal under the dash. Repeat but put the meter ground probe into the black ground connector from the blower. The readings should be the same.

Blower high speed goes through a relay switched by the control panel. Not sure how you test those, maybe disconnect the relay and check the voltage at the red wire terminal to a chassis ground. Should be battery voltage there.

The relay is on top of the a/c box to the left of the glovebox.

On metal with the motor off it’s 11.68 then with it on the ground it’s 11.24.
On metal with the motor on its 12.98 then on the ground it’s 12.6. Is it my wires or my motor?

So since it’s dropping when I put it on the ground should I clean my ground or put in some thicker wire?

If it’s obviously frayed or loose then it’s worth fixing. Otherwise that blower ground goes to G105.

For reference, I get 12.2V on mine with ignition on/engine off whether I ground it to the blower ground or to the horizontal bar behind the glovebox. You have nearly 0.5V difference when you ground to the ground wire. That seems high to me.

Do you think that ground could be an issue. Clean it up and tighten it?
