I’m currently trying to find some nice 15s or 16s. Everyone around me that has a set either won’t reply or they sell right as you get there

Right now I just have some square body 15x8 rally wheels that I got at the junkyard for 25$ a piece and cleaned up and painted

I’d love to find some of those around me, but most people want $500+ for a set with bad tires

Changed cap and rotor this morning, truck had a light sputter between 1000-1200RPM took care of that. Also searching for a rearend, what I thought was Ujoint noise turned out to be a hell of a lot of play in the rear diff. My dads got a parts 90 3/4 six lug I may swipe the rear end from him if it’s cheap enough. Oh well, life goes on I guess

Definitely swap in that 2500LD rear end if you can, the 14SF is a much stronger rear end vs. the 10b, you'll be happier with it when you install the lift.

I’m hoping dad didn’t want too much for it, he has a tendency to believe cheap parts are worth their weight in gold lol

Not much is happening with Karma Junior at the moment, a lot of my focus is on my ‘72 C10 we’re LS swapping. The ole 350 that was in there made it 30 something years on its last rebuild before tossing the crank bearings

Here she is after we yanked the 350, towed it to the car wash and washed the engine bay lol. Removed almost 50 years of dirt and grease in 45 minutes

No pics today but my AC accumulator decided it was gonna rupture at one of the solder joints. Was sitting in traffic when it happened. White smoke and a chemical like smell was all that I was warned. Trip to oreillys yielded me a new accumulator and orifice tube to be safe. Blowing colder but we’ll see what happens

Well the blowing cold only lasted maybe a day lol, started blowing a mediocre cool temp that was around 80*. Trip to harbor freight and I bought a vacuum pump and gauge set. Holding good vacuum so far. Been on it for maybe an hour

Well this one came to an abrupt end, kid I bought the truck from gave me the wrong title (was to an NBS 99) got ahold of him while I was at the tag office because the tag lady inspected the VIN and they didn’t match. Kid kept denying my phone calls, texts, and messenger. Finally got pissed enough to drive the two hours up to him. Knocked on his door to my surprise his dad answered. His dad said the truck went “missing” from his shop. Turn out kid took it and sold it to me. Not a smart move, I wanted to beat the **** out of him. His dad was understanding of my end see as how I had all the messages proving I bought it along with a bill of sale. As well as the title to his dads ‘99 lmao. Got $6000 back from all the work I did to it, as well as the satisfaction of the kid getting his ass beat by a very angry father. Ended up buying a dually a day later to replace it. Lesson learned: check the VIN on the title to the dash before forking over cash
