97 extended cab. Replaced compressor orifice tube condenser and accumulator and freon is good. I can see the recirc door work behind the blower motor and see the linkage move on the driver side by the actuator. Blower also blows hard and fast but I have low airflow from front vents and a some comes out from the floor when selecting the front vent mode. Any ideas why? Really trying to avoid rotating dash to fix

Lol I just went into a '95 and was able to extract quite a bit of leaves and debris from the evaporator area. If your mode door works Ok this might be worth a try. This requires removal of the glove box door, the ECM, and the blower. While the blower is out, clean the terminals where the two push-on lugs connect. Unbolt the ground and steel wool it. Its very difficult to access, but you can try hokling up a very flexible ~1" tube adapted to your shop vac to clear out more. Taking the dash apart is a last resort.
Don't know how much different the '97 is. Got about a 50%+ airflow gain. You'll want 5.5mm and 7mm shallow sockets to work in there. Knee pad a good idea.

How well did you "clean" it out? Evaporator fin cleaner? Hose? Are the evaporator fins plugged?
Took out leaves with my hand then sprayed cleaner in there and washed it out with a hose. I have a video of how it looks now I can send u on rn or number dk how to post it on here
