Very nice! I can't image working on an "old" truck that clean..... if I lived down south, I'd never have to give up driving an older vehicle.

Great job, on the dash, in particular. I would like to do mine, and clean up the HVAC system like you did.

On the tails..... I bought CAPA cetified TYC, and while I'm impressed, it's tempered a bit..... the upper corner cracked on the right hand light during installation. It's reported by a few people on Amazon, but I didn't think it would happen to me.... it did. The left was fine, after I was sent the proper one (first one was the wrong part). The light doesn't leak, and looks tons better than the hazed OEM, and the circuit board works, so I'm living with it for now. I'll likely order a new lens ans swap the board over at some point..... the price can't be beat, so as long as I don't get a second one that cracks, I won't complain too loudly.

I will check those out. Haven't driven it but twice after dark. These lights are useless

Nicely done. Leaving the "factory patina" really was a good touch. Repainting looks fantastic, but a patina like that on a truck in that good a condition, that's just a badge of honor.

A little surprised you didnt do the blower motor and vent door actuator while you had the dash apart (or did you?).

That brings my progress up to date, this weekend I'm installing the new window felts and interior arm rests.

Haven't decided on what I'm replacing the old headlights and taillights with yet. Will more than likely be factory style.

I have a 1991 chevy truck also. Its the same as your truck and is the same color too. I love that old truck... When it breaks I can fix it and its payed for lol. The transmission blow out and I like that truck so much I completely rebuilt my first automatic tranny and she back on the road. Good job and I will follow along on your future post and see what you do next :)

Highly recommend polishing up the OEM headlights rather than trying to find an aftermarket that is of comparable quality.
