Door is sagging gonna replace the pins and bushings but i have a question about the roller pins. Do i need them? The roller part is completely bent and ive seen people on youtube without them and the spring. All i care about is the sag because it wore out my latch and now i have to replace that too. Eventually when i have more money i will replace everything but it is ok if just until my next paycheck i roll without rollers and the spring? (Both of my roller pins are garbage but only one door sags because only one side has worn out bushings)

When you pop the spring to do the bushings, you’ll know if you can live with it. I don’t see how it would hurt anything.

Not sure what you’re buying, but I’d avoid the Dorman bushing kit. Two of the four cracked within two days on mine. GM parts are still available.

The roller assembly is just the "hold-open" detent function of the hinge; you can live without it. Without it, the door will swing all the way open or closed with nothing to stop it except whatever is at the end of the travel.. be it someone else's door next to you, or your leg, etc. So proceed carefully.

Another vote for the Dorman bushings cracking while trying to install. Very porous looking material when they crack.

I get them through a GM dealer when I need them.

Not sure what the roller kits costs but it's one of those "while you're there with the door loose operations get them out" Why go through it twice.

Given the mixed reviews, I almost didn’t buy them but you know how it goes. Dorman is officially on my crap-list now.

Best bet is to press them in with a bolt, nut and washers versus tapping them in with a hammer. Even then mine cracked within a few days.

I ordered some GM ones and will put those in.

One other thing to consider is if the hole the bushing rests is worn to the point it's oblong from wear the new bushing is not fully supported and doesn't last long in which case the hinge can be drilled for an oversize outside diameter bushing.

I swear the dorman ones look like machined pot metal instead of a bronze like bushing
