Complex harness...you said it. Part of why I decided to stick with manual locks/windows on my HD project was the harness I pulled from a '97 Yukon 4 door. What a mess! That, and I was getting so many calls for power window motors/door module assemblies, and good power door panels, that I couldn't justify using them on my "built from parts my customers didn't want" project!

Sorry for the delay on an update. After going to the junk yard and pulling two complete accessory harnesses, I should be able to help point you in the right direction. I pulled a 96 harness and a 99 suburban harness. For the most part they are identical. If your truck has the harness behind the dash. You should be able to see it plugged in at convenience center under the dash And there should be extra plugs shoved up in the kick panels by the doors. If not, you will need the whole harness. I'll follow up with pictures of everything shortly.

Thanks for responding! Wow, you nailed it. My fuse box does have the spots for power windows and door locks. So that’s a plus. I will have to check for the harness tomorrow. How did you make out? Great write up by the way!!

How about 88-94 trucks? Are they more plug and play than the 95+ trucks? Id like to upgrade mine simply for the "luxurious" aspect of it

Way ahead of the game with the 88-94 trucks vs. the 95-up. The accessory harnesses are a lot more separate, and simple, instead of bundled in with a much more complex harness on the newer interior design. Just hit the boneyard and go hunting for everything. I believe the hardest part of your swap will be finding power window/lock door panels in good condition.
