Here is our 1990 Sierra SLX 1500. Sold new at the dealership I work for to brother of one of our employees. He used it for a small lawn business so it never saw the winters that are so typical here in the upper mid west. It is not so much the winters that cause all of the rust. It is the type of street deicer that we use that is so hard on the paint and body. I have been looking for a long time for one in good shape that wasn't already all done. Wanted to go through that process myself. And yes the second picture was edited for light.

Clean truck, looks like a great base to start with.

What motor/trans does it have? Any interior shots?

Thanks, it has a 4.3 with a hand shaker. That is the next thing to get worked over, plan on a LS1 T56 swap. I'll get some interior pics on here soon.

Riddler 650's. 8.5x20 on the front and 10x20 on the rear. Tires are 245/45 r20 front tires and 275/35 r20 rear. The rear wheels and tires will rub if you lower it like this one. I just rolled the inner lip up a little to give it a little room. It didn't require much but if you go for a wider tire on the rear it will require a lot more rolling of the lip if not cut out all together.

Very clean! Does not look 30 years old! I like the 2 tone fabric hi-back buckets. Looks like the old mpc/amt model kit with the big ol'. shifter
