Man that is my dream! I’ve got a 91 with a 5.3 but it doesn’t look nearly that good. What kind and size wheels are those? Is that the factory dash or did you source a new one from somewhere?

Those are US Mags U111 Ramblers. Fronts are 20x8 (4.5” BS) and rears are 20x9.5 (5.25” BS).

That’s the original dash. It was mint and was the sole reason I bought this truck because I knew they didn’t make them anymore.

I found one with minor scuffs and one small crack but was tan. I repainted all my dash components so they would match and had a dash day. My old dash literally crumbled out due to Texas heat.

I know what you mean about the heat. I’m a little north of Baton Rouge, LA and it’s brutal here too.

I'd be looking for a bit more wheel all around if I could. I run 10.5" wheels on my Z06 and it only makes 4XX at the crank. Not sure how much fits in these trucks but I know it's more than 9.5" because that's what my half ton has.

Very nice. I tore mine down to the frame at the end of 2018. Put an LQ4 in it with a hellcat cam and worked over heads. It’s pretty fun to drive. I need to start a build thread.

What motor mounts you going with?

Looks great. Good luck with alk the painted interior though. It never seems to last on kick panels or sill plates. Also where the door panels touch the side of the dash usually scratches off

Same here. I’ve already had one trans mount fail causing the motor to shift and bind up destroying the bushings for the motor mounts. Brp replaced all the bushings which was nice but my motor is starting to shift again. Solid mounts are my next move.

well that’s not good. Hopefully I don’t have that issue!
