So I had to take my 96 Yukon to a garage to get it finished. Working nites, no garage, mud for a floor, not fun. But I put in a motor n tranny, got it running and it runs super smooth. I had other stuff to do to it, so didn't get driven around, but I would start it and let it idle, checking fluids, etc. I had to fix a brake line, while the hood was open I would occasionally rev it up. It has a whipple supercharger on it, so would rev pretty quick. I would try to rev it, it would stumble, sometimes it would rev sometimes it wouldn't. It would idle fine tho. Tried to start it next day and didn't start. I thought it was the pump, but garage says it has 55-65 or somewhere in there, can't remember exactly what he said. It would start on ether tho. Mechanic said it has fuel and spark, but the injectors aren't firing. He was gonna check some wires, there was one that looked like had corrosion on it, that was for the fuel return line for the whipple. So it really shouldn't have anything to do with the injectors, just pressure. This ran beautiful, then this. Really want to get this thing going, Im at a loss, and mechanic is too. There is no check engine light or codes, Im pretty sure he checked fuses. Im' really hoping its not the electronic BS for the whipple, since there is next to 0 support for this system anymore.

Well maybe this will help someone who has similar issues. Change the cap/rotor. guess mine was a cheapo one, and had moisture in it. Replaced it, now runs like it did when first swapped in the motor. Fixed most the BS that was wrong, prolly need rotors pads n whatnot, but got to drive it home, and runs pretty good. The Whipple seems to work good, seems to pull up my hill, which is pretty steep. Now just need to wait for DMV to open so I can put it on the road.....stupid virus.....

AFAIK stock. Injectors for sure, since using the ones that came with the newer motor. It still has the "whippletronics" on it, but have the 0411 and wiring diagram, but that will be for another day. Right now just want to get it on the road, work out any bugs.

I just wonder if you have enough fuel. Do the electronics have a boost a pump and aux injectors?

There is a rubber hose that goes to a boost pod, so the ECM can sense boost. As for fueling, it's a nice way of calling it a controlled drip. I guess I have an early version of the kit, it doesn't use extra injectors. There is a valve or something on the return fuel line. When there is boost, it stops the flow of fuel to the tank, and therefor forces it out to the injectors. Not overly crazy about this system, but for now gonna leave it. All the readings I've done, the whipple puts out 6 pounds of boost. IMO, really not much, I'd think it's a small enough amount that the factory fueling would be sufficient.

I'm ******* my MAF here in CO, so I wouldn't be so sure about the state of the Whippletronics tune. My dually came with it, but it had a boost a pump and aux injectors. I believe you have a later kit and it was the early ones that got the aux injector.

Its possible. But all the pics I see are with the extra injectors. I'm gonna get boost and AFR gauge and see what's going on..,,
