Right on Erik, your interior looks good, the buckets look nice! Are those Pontiac Bonneville buckets as per the "sticky post"? Mine will be ratty&loud for awhile. I will look into the SoffSeal and some carpet one day. For now I just want to get this project mobile.. I found some black vinyl in my basement that I could use for now for the

Those are heated leather power seats from a '94 Cadillac DeVille. I got them for $15 + another $10 for the seated heat controller on a weekend special at the local Pull-A-Part. The donor only had about 80k miles on it because mice had shredded the wiring harness and pooped all over the interior. Some leather cleaner and elbow grease made them nice again. I probably ought to be more worried about hantavirus than coronavirus.
View media item 32066I built the seat mounting frames out of 2" square tubing and 2" angle iron, and I built drawers into the frames out of 14 gauge steel and some drawer slides.

Wow nice seats! good work on the fabrication as well! I got the start of the electrical system in using M.A.D enterprises recommendations for the main power system..

I painted the cab floor a 2nd coat but it isn't warm enough here (like around 45 F) to get it dried quick. Once it is dry I will remove the dash. I will use this guys great tutorial on using the Speedway harness..

I got the non-AC HVAC heater unit installed, I wired up the heater control and it worked! The cylinder heads checked out OK so I will be using them. They are 193s with some porting, this tow engine won't get above 5000 rpm much

Hey guys, I am planning to use some of the stock gauges. It looks like a simple hookup to the volt meter&fuel level gauge.. I was going to put the + on one thread, a negative on the other and then for the fuel gauge have the wire from the from the sender? What do you think?

I went with a aftermarket wiring harness (Speedway) and to simplify things I reverted back to non-ac..It does get hot up here (Ottawa, Canada) So maybe for now use a fan..One day (years from now lol) once this thing gets rolling I might put in a aftermarket kit..For now. I will wear a swimsuit lol

I hail from a higher northern latitude than that and still ran the AC all the time. I think it's the radiant heat of everything getting cooked in the greenhouse cab that makes it so damn hot even with the windows down. That and it's loud AF with the windows down. Yeah, I'm a ***** who loves his AC.

I figure I will be sweating as well, there are days when it gets over 90F up here. I will be using headers and have less insulation..I had a '02 Grand Am for many years with no AC which in retrospect sucked..I bought a 2012 Dodge Avenger a few years ago with working AC would get it fixed if it broke because it is way more confortable..

There also won't be any cruise control so for long tows my foot will be tired!
