I was wondering if you were still working on it. Ive been trying to get a hold of someone at the farm about bringing our cub scout pack out on Saturday. In the past they let us do the corn maze and grab a pumpkin for free.
Sent you a message on the farm thing, can certainly give it a try and make that happen! After all the October farm events and getting finished up with field work for the year I should be able to spare a little time here and there to work on the 50 for my mom, or at least that is the hope.

Sean, you have given me food for thought with your story and build thread. I have a '67 C10 given to me by my Father-in-law when my son was born in '06. We named him after his Grandpa. His Grandpa drove that truck for 40 years. It's been sitting in the back field for 12 years now. My son is starting to show interest in getting it running for when he starts driving. I was just going to get it running again and let him have it. I think now I'll plan on a full restoration with my son working side by side with me. We can even get his Grandpa involved in some of the project too. Thank you for sharing your story and build!

Hey folks, been a very long while. But I'm happy to report there is progress beginning again on the '50 project. Cleared out a spot in the farm shop to move it into and got her all tucked in there. Should be much easier to get things done on it having more space to actually work in, plus all my tools are there anyway. Going to start by putting the dash back together and getting the wiring done. Hopefully have the engine running in a few months time. Here is a couple pictures of moving her, should have some pictures for you guys of the new location and progress being made over the next few weeks. :)

Still working on getting it set up in the farm shop. Got the bed moved there today, and pulled out some of the things to start assembling the dash and do the wiring work on it. Need to address the rust holes in the bed, and then start fabricating steel crossmembers for that. Decided to do steel rather than wood not only for longevity, but I'm also better at making things out of steel than I am with wood. The bed floor will still be wood however. Here are the pictures of the new location.
