My dad's S10 Blazer did. My old 88 with no oil cooler used regular flared fittings for the tranny, 350 truck.

I've never seen anything but flared for the transmission side. That's a gm thing that started in the 60s I believe.

Here's another option that uses the correct o-ring fittings instead of the straight threaded M20x1.5 fitting:

Use a M20x1.5 o-ring to M18x1.5 o-ring reducer like those supplied with my last two replacement radiators:

And two of these fittings:

Should fit perfectly with no thread sealant or oddball sealing issues. Thoughts?

In addition to this, the sky's the limit really. Anything that starts as 20mm on the radiator side could potentially be redrilled and tapped to the user's liking. I did that for my car back in Japan when I couldn't find what I needed.

Lots of quick disconnect trans cooler stuff. My engine and trans oil coolers were all quick disconnect on my 97 and I hated it. Always leaking.

Engine/trans or radiator side..... I'm specifically addressing the radiator side of the lines. My oil cooler lines were quick connects on the engine... I don't think they ever leaked, or at least I couldn't tell from all the oil from the filter adapter and lines themselves. They have a particular name (after a company), but I can't think of it right now.

I've used Presto Locks on air lines before, is that the name you're thinking of?

No, but is that the name you really mean? When I Google "Presto Lock", I get combination locks, not anything even remotely a quick connect for hydraulic lines.

EVERY OEM connection was a quick disconnect on my 97. The radiator and engine side of the oil cooler lines. The transmission, radiator and auxiliary cooler lines for the trans were as well. It is all AN now.
