Well it did it again today, so will just stick a regular cap on the truck and plumb the stock vent hose to the can, but with a larger than stock size if I can. Since it did it empty I'm not convinced it's an issue with crank pressure.

Well it's definitely not an issue with crankcase pressure issue.
It's running down from the front center top of the inspection cover and it's clearly a pressurized leak. My suspicion is the oil filter housing as that's the only pressurized thing I'm aware of at the back of the motor. Motor off, no leak. At an idle, steady stream. Anything I could be missing?

Ya I had to remove the filter housing and replace the seals. Very well could be the culprit. I needed to grind down a 3/8 extensions to remove the caps that cover the bolts. Fortunately i had one that was shot. Easy fix for sure.

Funny thing is I replaced the o ring last year. Even bought the special bit set for it. On top of that, I just found a complete unopened seal kit for GM oil coolers so if the weather doesn't blow tomorrow I can swap it out at my hangar. Undercarriage is good and soaked again.

Just to be sure, is there anything else at the back of the block that's pressurized?
Oil pressure sensor, oil cooler lines, oil filter adapter, rear main seal, oil galley plugs.
You probably already know this, and I don’t know what version you have, but the later models, like my 2000, don’t use the adapter that mounts the oil filter horizontally. It just uses a shorter filter that is vertical and seals directly against the block.
Also make sure it’s not something stupid like the old oil filter gasket from the last oil change got stuck to the engine and didn’t get discarded with the old filter which would make a double high seal and usually will blow out and leak. I know you said it’s coming from up higher than the filter, just putting that out there for others.

Rear main seal isn't pressurized, this leak ran the pan dry in a hurry. So there are galley plugs at the back of the block?

Oil pressure sensor is on top, right? Top and middle of the bellhousing looked clean.
