so heres what i think is a steal of a deal so far anyway. flew home from California got home at 2am, left at 6 to go pick this up approx 300KM away one way. and i couldnt have been more excited.

Bought for 2200.

upgrades i have been informed of: PMD relocate, 94 block put in it after first one blew. 4.10s, 4" flow prow exhaust, turbomoaster wastgate, autometer oem gauges, kenwood HU, spray in liner, 5th wheel rails, LED fog lights and the grizzly bar. Heath tuned ECU, JD 9800? fuel filter and lift pump, command start and a rear disc conversion. PO still had original order sheet from his friend who had it brand new. Reason its so cheap: trans is acting funny. shifts R-1-2-3 absolutley fine, then it starts searching for gears before it settles in OD when cruise is set but rapidly goes between OD and 4th. im thinking maybe TPS? i really dont know. fluid is full and pink, not burnt.

anyway once you lock it in cruise your set to go and no issues, drove it the 300km back home just now. here are inital pics. tons of plans to do to this thing all its going to take is more money. PO left me with a PMD in the console along with an OPS and door jamb switches

would love to here on ideas on what the trans could be. truck never slips in gears, and pulls exteremly hard i literally could not believe it.

Truck looks great from the pics at least, and for that price you got it for a steal! Hopefully the problem won't get worse because if it only plays around with overdrive, it won't bother ya in daily driving... Let's hope you find the problem and get it fixed, I'd start with checking the tranny sensors and solenoids, but could be anything really, there's too damn much electrics that are tied to one another :(
