I ordered the EBC stuff through Amazon directly, not a third part seller. "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com Services LLC."
That's a bummer!

I'm not a Prime member although I probably should be, I just could never bring myself to pay the yearly fee
It paid for itself multiple times over for us but, since we live out in BFE, we use it whenever we can. Plus you get free Prime video on your smart TV (and I know you're into that stuff)!

I am...

Honestly Prime video would be awesome and I do consider it sometimes. My only issue is that I have a hard time paying for media of any kind these days. I grew up as the internet was in its infancy and that spoiled me. I actually don't even have a smart TV, just an internet connection and a computer hooked up to every TV.

I really should join Prime just for the free two day shipping though. Like you I order from them constantly. I think last year I had something like 60 orders from Amazon.

Yeah, no minimum purchase either. Yesterday I ordered 2 door lock cylinders (~$16) for my truck and they arrived this morning!

i do prime also. 13 bucks a month. the movies are worth that. almost always get stuff in 2-3 days free shipping. the freight would cost more than the membership, and you also get prime music. smart tv, roku, stick, record and burn, etc.

I do the annual membership somewhere around $123 including tax IIRC (save a couple bucks that way). Sometimes you have to pay attention because some vendors charge more to cover shipping but, most of the time I can find stuff for less than Rock Auto plus shipping.

And it's faster to ship than Rockauto and you never run the risk of paying shipping 2-3x because the ****'s coming from 3 different warehouses.

Depends on who the specific seller is. In MO we pay taxes on anything directly from Amazon's warehouses, but nothing on items from third party sellers.

We do in AZ - I thought they passed a law a couple years ago, online vendors have to charge tax after all the brick and mortar stores were crying too hard.

I am a big proponent of blank rotors on street vehicles. Drilled and slotted all too often leads to cracking. The advantage is only visual. Sure you lose some weight with holes in your rotors, but there are inherent thermal disadvantages to that as well.

The biggest benefit from having a larger rotor is that there is a greater mass for heat to be stored, which is really good for long or steep descents. With more area, your brake surface is able to stay within operating temperature better, and the surfaces are less likely to get too hot and fade.

When I did my brake upgrade on my escalade to NNBS i looked for quality blanks. I am running SSBC rotors. I did look at those brembos but had a hard time sourcing them. Definitely would have considered the EBCs @ $117/pair

I am running duralast pads... cant remember which ones. Either gold or the duralast gt carbon fiber ones. Quiet, no fade, stops great with hydroboost but it doesn't tow and isnt a racetruck.
