Got a 92 4.3 tbi that wont start even after replacing spark plugs, starter, fuel pump, did the timing, and distributor (all of it). I don't know what else it could be. it does crank but doesn't want to actually start. Help me out.

What do you mean by "wiring up extra gauges"? These are basic tests that can be performed with external testing tools. You can test vacuum and fuel pressure with a $20 kit from harbor freight, same with spark and compression. If you're hard up for cash you can usually borrow some of these diagnostic tools from a parts store like auto zone for free if you put down a deposit.Im in high school its my first truck and it hasnt ran since 2015 but it was $850 so it was some what worth it and the distributor was rusty and i dont know if its worth wiring up extra gauges so what yall think?

If it hasn't run for 5 years, there's likely a bit of troubleshooting to do, but start with these basics, watch some YouTube videos on how to do them properly, and be patient. Do all of the tests before you decide to change anything further. Once you do these tests you'll find an area to narrow in on and you can do more specific tests to find the component or components that have failed.alright ill do those test and see what happens ill update the thread once i get those done. Anything else i should know or keep in mind?
