What are some plug in options for a different door chime? I have a 1994 with the buzzer and I know GM makes a ton of interchangeable parts so I’d think there would be one to swap in

If I remember right, it's been a while, the one out of a camero worked.. dont remember exactly the year range though.. but gives you another item to search for...lol.

This is literally the best result for the least time and money mod you can do. I followed the advice of the posters in the linked thread and put a brown module from an Olds Allero into my 94. I think the junk yard may have charged a $1 for the part and it took 30 seconds to make the swap.

Replaced the buzzer style in my '89 K1500 with a chime style from an '89 Olds Delta 88. Made a huge difference.
