The question is after putting the front end parts on the camber is way out I still have original upper control arm and ball joint is there something other than cam bolts to be able to bring the top of the wheels back in

No good way to write all this down so I'm just going to make a list have parts that I've swapped to my 98 k1500
All donor parts from '01-'10 2500's
10.5 rear axle 4:10 disk brakes
Master cylinder
0411 pcm
Lower A arms
Steering knuckle
Wheel bearings
Rotors calibers
Center link and tie rods
4l80e. And 241c
9.25 front diff
Only cutting I've had to do was moved the lower front differential mounts an inch lower

I'll say what others are thinking.

Oh boy! What a clusterf**k!! lol

Have you removed the knockouts out of the upper control arm mounting tabs?

Camber is only a small part of the situation. Did you really think knuckles from a totally different bodystyle would work?

I will get an alignment when it's close enough that they don't need parts to go with it. It is what it is. I just wanted to see if the NBS 8 lug conversion was possible after everyone said it wasn't

I would have took their word for it. lol

Maybe a custom upper control arm can get the job done. Idk Good luck trying to find an alignment guy to even put his hands on it.

I didn't post a question asking for what your opinions or comments are. I've all my time and energy into making what I want for a truck. I made a post asking for alignment parts and if someone knew of a kit I had not come across from extensive searching. But thank you for your opinion I will keep it for as long as I need it.

Well, I wish you luck in your continued search. Hopefully you'll get it sorted.

OP, no reason to get snippy.. this is s public forum with a great bunch of knowledgeable people that have been doing this a long time and have alot of been there done that knowledge. there is a reason everyone says no on this front swap. Know your figuring out why they are saying this first hand..

But...... with that said.. specialty products make a camber bushing with a +/- 1.00 degree offset that may help a little depending how far off you are. You said you still have your original upper arm so I looked it up for a 98 k1500 at work. It's part number is 86350. They replace your bushing in your upper arm.. hope that helps you out some. Good luck with it and be interested to see how it all turns out.

What is your camber now OP? Sounds like the 800 HD trucks run a different amount of KPA? What's the difference in height between the original knuckle and the 800 part?

This is EXACTLY what I want to do, it yet couldn’t get any answers. I’d say so what you can, n take it to an alignment shop. If there any good they will now how to fix it. Do you have any pics of where you cut/welded to get diff in? Everything is pretty straight forward, but haven’t really messed with IFS diffs.
