Anyone still following?

If I remember the info correctly you can use the old bench riser. I don't think there is a "different" riser for another type of seat. This is my theory and from what I remember. I would advise you to check carefully as I have not yet done a swap and anything I write here is just something I have read. I have been looking into it as my bench seat is pretty crapped out.

My suggestion would be to go back from the beginning of the thread and print each page that appears to have info pertaining to what you want to do and put those in your "truck" file for reading by the light of a work light when your ass is freezing under the truck trying to turn a stuck seat bolt. Good luck !

Very sharp! They look like they are a bit higher than stock seats is this the case or is it just an illusion?

Height about the same, if not slightly shorter. They need to be slightly higher to be able to extend back more but I'm short (5'7") so it's not like i'm losing leg room. Seat placement is about where I would have it. After I put in my sub box, it won't matter if they were higher to extend back more because a speaker box will be in the way anyway. The seats are definitely more comfortable and the lumbar support was worth the effort to fabricate brackets to get the new seats in.

Do you have any pictures from the installation? This seat swap is one of my 2 options I'm looking at doing. More information would be appreciated!

The width of the seats including the jump seat is 57 inches, same as the bench seat that came with the truck. The rails on the new seas are wider and they also had hooks and nipples i cut off with a cutting wheel and then used an angle grinder to smooth everything out.

My goal was to use all the existing holes if I could. I welded two 3/16 in thick steel bars on the seats and sat them back in the truck and marked where the holes would be by shooting up the holes with spray paint. Since the passenger side only had two holes because there was a bench seat, after I marked the two holes and drilled them i measured out 10 inches for the other two holes I had to drill because there was clearance underneath at that point. I utilized m10 1.5 60mm bolts.

As for the jump seat. I used one of the existing holes that held he bench seat closest to the driver and welded a 6" piece of steel to the bottom of the jump seat and bolted it down from the rear. I then used two #14 2 inch slef tapping sheet metal screws on each side to hold it in place.

It folds forward like it normally would. There isn't anything blocking the travel of the seat. My seats came from a crew cab truck, but I have a single cab.
