Yeah, a pretty radical looking design. Sadly, it got totaled out when he got t-boned in it TWO DAYS AFTER BUYING IT. LOL
He loved them because he could cram 37's on without having to do any mods. Maybe trim the fenders, but nothing else.

Ouch, sorry to hear that.

what's with bed rails? one of my favorites,, with a Big Block.
Some of them came with bed rails, or it was a dealer option. That would be the first thing I would remove. I would also add AC. It gets HOT in south Louisiana. They had a 1970 big block a little while back, but I didnt like the way the floor looked under the bed cover next to the cab. IMO, it needed to be replaced, but I do like the 70 more, and it did have a 454. They move a lot of cars and trucks there. Maybe 10 or 12 a week.

I really like that red truck with the 6 inch lift, the wheels are ugly though, would look x100 better with a set of AR Baja rims or ProComp 69 rims. Though, $15k is a bit much.

My dad's one ton CCLB dually Custom Craft Vehicles conversion came with the fiberglass running boards. It is kinda rare to see a 4 door with the full length fiberglass running boards since most of them came on either x-cabs or standard cabs.
