Delphi has better quality control
I have bought AC Delco that was crap and replaced with Delphi with no issue
Fuel pressure regulator and pumps
Tested side by side Delphi makes the specs
Delco falls short
All the stuff is made over sea/Mexico now

I guess they have different QC and testing. I bought an ac telco. I guess I'll find out what kind quality the pump will be.

i just decided to get a deatschwerks fuel pump - made in the USA, 3yr warranty, popular for high horsepower and turbo applications. DW200 model is what i got, don't need a super amount of flow, rated just above stock vortec pump. Bonus, it is not one of those you can't hear priming, but not super loud either.

I also recommend RockAuto. the one for my 88 suburban was 93.xx at the manufacturer, 68.xx at RockAuto. Looks like an exact fit, haven't had time to do it yet, but it looks good. No plastic.

so this pump from amazon was supposed to show up today. But in reality all that showed up at my front door was an empty padded enveloped, that still had tape on the glue strip. It was perfectly flat, had there been a square box in it at any point, the bubble envelope would have been deformed. I don't even see how anyone could be was retarded as to transport and deliver an empty padded envelope. After a long time arguing about the fact that amazon actually made a delivery... yes of an envelope without content. I finally got my money back... or better a refund initiated. I bought another fuel pump for more money elsewhere that is supposed to be delivered in 3 days.

I notice that the truck runs and drives fine , until the advance lowers the RPM, as of then the truck drives ******. cruising seems OK, too.
Still not sure what would cause that. (new wires, new plugs, new coil, new distributor ,new ignition module, rebuild tbi)
any ideas?
