This is with a complete L33 engine in the bed and a toolbox. That's all the compression I have left.

I turned them up to 9 and it didnt bottom out. But with no weight in the bed they have a good bit more travel. My upper shock mounts need to be rotated some to give about 2 more inches of travel. And i made some more lower mounts i can try on this other rear axle that are adjustable.

That ride height is with about 600# in the bed.

Woops.
Sorry if i wasn't clear.
But yea when i was setting up the rear shocks i had to guess at the ride height with the bed off and all that fun stuff. I missed it by a little bit.

I still want to do the Sport-Rite helper bags to help it out some tho. I have alot of stuff to start moving to my new shop. And if i use this truck at 19mpg vs 9mpg using my tahoe and car hauler trailer. It will save quite a few pennys at 105 miles round trip.

28,000 miles now and thinking about taking the turbo off..
Bought a 2004 2500HD 6.0 4x4 and this turbo would make a huge difference on towing with the new truck.
I'm still going to try and do GMT800 Seats and the 3.08 rear end in the 91 and Daily Drive it, but couldn't pass up the 2004 2500HD for $2000. It has 250,000 miles and body is in great shape. Engine is quiet, interior is in very good shape for a farm truck. And it just needs a water pump, Heater core, and Evaporator core.

Plus i have some machining to do on the Turbo manifold flange to get it to stop leaking so figure why not just throw it on the HD and will be able to tow the goose neck trailer with it.

Thats my future goal.. but gotta build house before i can spend any more money on play stuff.
Only reason i wanted to get the HD was the fact that its pretty cheap and in good shape. Guy just didnt want to put any more money into it by paying someone to fix it and then try to sale it.
his CPA is giving him a hard time for trying to use it for a write off on the farm. So after he put new tires on it and a BW gooseneck hitch in it, he just wants to recoup some of his money to put in his hotrod.

So yea id really love to do a billet 69mm compressor with a 87mm turbine and use it for towing. But until then, the 75/83 will do.
