If you do a 3.08, will you be able to boost off the line?
I'm sure.
I can get 5psi right now but all it does is spin.
I drive on the interstate more than I play with boost. So just wanting to tinker.
Got too many other projects going on to tinker with mine right now tho.

Sounds like you have the brake switch and the cruise on switch flipped around. Brake should deactivate.
Brake will deactivate the cruise. That's the first thing I tried once I got the cruise working.
So should it still work fine even tho I had the wires switched?
I'll check the wiring this weekend when I get time.

If the brake still deactivates it then it might just be a hick up in the processor or the wiring somewhere. If it works how it is, don't mess with it unless you get bored.

Haha I never have enough free time to get bored. But yea I'll check it out one day.
Building a 60x100 shop and a 4000sqft house right now. Gonna be busy for awhile.

My "fix" for it has been just turn the cruise switch on when I turn the IGN on and when I press the brake at the first stop sign I'm good to go from there.

I had this turbo on my other truck for years and it still makes me laugh when I can push the accel cruise button and the turbo whistles while speeding up....

Quick Update:
24,000 miles on it now.
Only had one issue with oil feed line so bought a SS Braided line.
Oil Pressure sensor is leaking now too.
But so far it has been doing great!

I am going to be removing one more leaf spring and adding Helper bags and adjusting the top shock bracket some when i put the other rear end under it with 3.08s.
Its been going from 18-19.5mpg pretty consistent. Oh and i might have cheated and run 89 octane alot and every now and again i get some 87 octane..... shhhh.....

Also thinking about making a adjustable leaf spring shackle so i can figure out where i want the ride height to be unloaded and then i can take them off and make new shackles the correct length.
It had 3" lowering shackles but they hit the bed and wouldn't let the suspension droop. I chopped them off some and welded them back together but now its kinda too high in the rear.
But like mentioned i have to move my top shock mount to be able to get the ride height any lower.
