Hey all, I wanted to start a thread on the progress of my engine swap from my 4.3 with a blown head gasket to a crate 305.

First thing was first and that was t bring in the truck and start the tear down.

Next was to get the motor out, in the floor so I could get all the the pulleys and such that I needed to transfer over

Got it out and started the tear down. I went ahead and tore the whole thing down.

Next was the intake. I got jiggy with it and painted all the bolt heads white, the water neck white, and the nuts white

While I was waiting on parts I got some loom and did the wiring harness
