Compression test each cylinder maybe? Someone else would have to chime in with other potential ways. And obviously if you see any fluid leaks coming from between the heads and the block it's a pretty good indicator of bad gaskets.

Yeah, that note about removal was in the instructions.

If yours are leaking, that isn’t making these replacements look very promising. Every now and again you’ll see someone post about issues.

Me too. One of my 95’s has it, other doesn’t. It’s a nice feature.

Why wont my damn truck idle under 1500 rpm? I am thinking a leak in the throttle body gasket am I on the right track? From what my buddy told me the truck doesn't really have any balls either. " I am in Iraq so I don't know" it is a 5.7 in a 94 silverado 4x4 with a 14 bolt rear. other than that everything else is stock mechanically.

Tried turning ththe curb idle down on the actual throttle spin itself?

This sensor is located on the passenger side, bank 2. It is below the sparkplugs and above the oil pan. I cannot figure out what this sensor is. I would like to replace it as I believe it is leaking.

Thanks!

That's the knock sensor. Likely not the sensor itself is leaking, but the seal around it (if in fact that's what is leaking there at all) - when you take it out you'll lose all your coolant because that's where it's screwed into the block - right in the bottom of the cooling system.
