Great truck to begin with. Step side has STYLE written all over it (not for everyone). Great job by you! I wish that I was as capable. Cost for the engine?

Thank you. Iv been getting stuff here and there little at a time over the past year. Its hard to say how much the motor actually was since it was built. I paid $150 for the block which is a 97 vortec block. Of course that had to go to the machine shop. All in all for the motor its self (pic of it in the wooden stand) not including all the Holley EFI stuff maybe $3500. Give or take. Now that's not including the small crap that nickel and dime you to death... headers, starter, Coolant Temp Sensor, Coolant Temp sending unit, Oil pressure sensor, plugs/ wires, pulleys, a belt, air cleaner, ect.

Still, a hell of a lot cheaper than going almost any other route! Your step side becomes a rarer timeless vehicle everyday. Enjoy the ride; you have earned it!

Thank you sir. I just put my "no drill" bed cover on that i had custom made. What a pain in the ass. None of the clamps worked and had to be rebuilt . They were rebuilt so that I would able to use the bolts in the bed that hold the inner fender. So technically i guess there was no drilling. No thanks to the orginal hardware.
