Have any of y'all had experience with these and I wonder why the 4x6 won't fit iin the 4x6 housing
Not bad, I'm a fan if infinity myself, but I haven't heard these so there's not much for me to compare. The 4x6 likely shows that it won't fit due to the difference in the driver. I'd pull out the old one and check the clearances back there. I had the same problem when I put infinity kappa's in my dodge caliber. I had to cut almost the entire back out of the bracket to make them fit because the driver was way bigger than the stock speaker. I'd you're willing to do some surgery it should fit fine, just check before you order.

Other people on the forum have had good luck with the infinity 64cfx which fits in the 4x6 slot. They've got a much better sensitivity rating than the ones you posted, and they'll take more power if you decide to amp them. They are more expensive though. If that's your price range, I'd go with the kenwood KFC-4675C, especially if you're not hooking up to an amp in the back. They'll take less power, but the sensitivity rating is higher, and 20 watts is all you need it to stand up to if you're not running an amp, not to mention you're likely to ruin your sound stage going any higher back there.

As for the fronts, I'd take a look at the Polk DB 652. $80 a pair, highly rated, up to 100W RMS and a good sensitivity rating. I've heard Polk before and they are good, though I've never owned a set, so I'd go to a local shop and test them out.

The reason why I wanted these speakers is because the 6.5 has the crossover already built into it and I want my speakers to match
But I will keep the 4x6 cfx speakers in mind

Crutchfield likes to say things won't fit when in reality many times there's no issue. I wouldn't worry too much. The first thing that comes to mind is that the magnet might be a little bit too deep, I know those rear holes are pretty shallow.

Having said that though, I'm not a huge fan of Rockford Fosgate speakers. They make great subwoofers and amps but their interior speakers have always sounded harsh and borderline sloppy to me. I'd be looking at something with silk dome tweeters and rubber surrounds, I usually recommend the Kicker KS series these days for a good middle of the road option.

I also like the KS series too because before I got my truck I installed 2 4x6 and 2 4x10 speakers in my 1st Gen s10 and those speakers would shake my truck a little

I am a huge fan of RF. I currently run the prime 6.5" in the doors and those same punch 4x6" in the rear, along with an older model single 10" P2 punch under the back seat. Also still have the stock tweeters in the doors as well. The way I have everything set up with my single DIN Kenwood head unit, my highs are very crisp and clean at max volume, and the mids sound very full(if that's a good way to describe it) As well as the lows powered by an old cheap Sony amp I robbed out of my Camaro that's undergoing surgery, same as the sub I grabbed out of it since I'm cheap lol.

By no means am I any kind of stereo expert, but IMO RF gives a great bang for the buck and I've been very happy with them for a number of years.

Do yourself a HUGE favor and use a 4" round speaker and a 4x6 to 4" speaker adapter . I swear I have used every brand 4x6 on the market and none hold up or even really sound that good. Something about a small oval speaker just sounds horrible. Amazingly a 4" round makes more bass and sounds alot clearer. I started with I finity reference 6.5 components up front and reference 4" in the rear locations. It's a real PITA to put rear ones in, so most of the time I actually cut out the factory grille and surface mount the 4x6 with it's own grille ( just cause when u cook one it's easy to replace ), but when I put my reference 4" in I out it behind factory grille. I originally intended on a stealth install, but now am adding a second set of pioneer pro 6.5" in doors and a pioneer pro 4" tweeter ( instead of a 3.5" one currently in there now). Gonna have to build pods now I'm sure but gotta have my music!

Ah, as usual I'm a day late and a dollar short! Atleast u used a good name brand speaker and off of the 18watts they r getting from your headunit they will be fine. I'd set your hpf on your headunit to 120hz ( if ur headunit doesn't have a hpf setting I'd get sum bass blockers cause any real bass will kill those little speakers).
