Hello guys, been on the following the forum for a while and finally have enough done to my truck to post something....somewhat worthy.
Here we go.

94 k1500
Bought it back in 2012 from a kid that got it for christmas and didnt want it because it was a "old mans truck".
Had 135k and was completley stock.
Now she has 155k and has had some work done.

Ill update the thread as I go with more detailed information

Back in 2015 or 2016 she blew a head gasket so I took the heads off. I was working at Will's Auto Machine Shop in Chamblee, GA at the time and they were kind enough to let me rebuild the heads. Once I reinstalled the heads. They didnt look that nice on the dirty nasty block so me and my dad pulled the motor and we started the rebuilding process.

Since its been so long since I worked at Wills. I have forgotten the part numbers of the parts I used.
-We upgraded the cam to a slightly bigger cam than factory. (The guys at the shop told me what to buy and I listened)

-Oversized pistons .020

-surfaced the block .002" (just to clean up any rust pits the block had.)

-ARP rod studs and bolts

-balanced the engine. (Will try to upload the video later)

-3 angle valve job on the stock heads.

-surfaced the heads .005"

-new oem valve springs and offset keepers

Purchasing new long tube headers and going with a true dual 2.5" exhaust.

Great looking truck!! Id be really interested in hearing how the long tubes fit in, and how the true duals clear the front driveshaft
