How well does your truck do with that trailer? All I've ever towed with mine is a 5x8 or 6x12 enclosed Uhauls, loaded with boxes of Hot Wheels, crates of car ads, tables and car parts ( going to/from out- of- town big car shows). Probably not over 4000 pounds including the trailer. Mine is a 5.7 vortec, C1500, 3.42 gearsYou'll find me somewhere between Longview and Kermit depending on the day...lol

My dad woulda dug the hell outta those red steelies and white wall tires. He was old school that way. He wanted to put white walls on the Burbs and I said no way cause they're too hard to keep nice on a daily driverYou must be registered for see images attachChecking in for San Antonio

Cool! I've never been around a 4x4 much unless an awd 06 Yukon XL Denali counts. We towed the same rigs with it ,to Austin and Lafayette, and it did well too, a little better in Austin on the hills. But that truck is a stationary project that I don't have time, money or patience for any more. 205,000 miles on the 6.0 and 4L80E and they need a little much attention. When we got it, was a damn good truck, and pretty too, but now it's just old. Once we get my Dad's estate settled it will be for saleIt doesn't do too badly, but honestly I don't want to do it again lol.. 97 K1500 5.7 / NV3500 / 3.73s on 265/75R16s, 550 miles of I20, averaging around 55-60mph, 10.5mpg. Trailer's probably around 5500 I'd have to guess, it's a 24 footer. It's a 97 model as well
PS the cable-actuator on the front axle makes backing it up a breeze with the transfer case in 4-LO
