About 7 years ago I bought this 1993 S-10 Blazer from one of my brothers. Somebody had done a transmission rebuild on it and they dropped it on driveway and cracked the trans case right on the servo retainer ring groove. The ring came completely out on my way home from work one day and blew the piston out. I pulled the trans out and went and got a good core with the same numbers stamped in it and rebuilt the trans myself. It is a 4L60E trans and works fine now. The trouble is I never reinstalled the front driveshaft back then. Today I tried to put the driveshaft in and for some reason it hits on the crossmember and won`t line up with the transfer case. The rear mount is solid and dry. It seems like the mount on the transfer case needs spacing up about 1 inch. Anybody run into this problem before?
