Bolts right in. You do need the air deflector from under the dash because its different than the regular truck and SUV ones.

Thanks! Any chance you have the list of part numbers you used? Finding those consoles feels like finding a Sasquatch....

Nope just junkyard hopped for several years until I found one. I didn't like it near as much as I thought I would and switched to a gmt800 shorty console that I love.

I looked and looked for one that would be the right height and width, finally found this form a seler in Phoenix, filled the void nicely because it was a wide void since I kept the OEM seats and recovered them. I do think I want to section the seat bases about 1.5 " to, lower the seat
Bobby V PS it is also a jump seat

has anyone ever put in a console out of a 00+ tahoe or other full length in a OBS (98 Silverado)? and if so what kind is easiest to make fit, ive been trying to track down a escalade center and 90 percent of the yards near me have stripped those out by now.
I've got one in my 99 Tahoe with the matching steering wheel. Fits good between the seats. If you trim enough in the front it gets pretty close up to the dash. I have to make a trim panel to fill in the sides soon.

That things looks pretty sweet, definitely need pics of that thing installed. What do you plan to do with the factory head unit space?
