I am looking to purchase this kit
Anyone use it?
I am curious about how it would effect the pcm in the truck .
Would I lose any functions

That looks like a pretty sweet kit. And all stand-alone aswell. If you have an automatic you will need a stand-alone trans controller too I believe unless the controller comes with one programmed into it.

The kit says it comes with trans controller
1997 Chevy 2dr 4wd ,4l60e trans Vortec 5.7 stroked to 383. Ported tb pro tork converter msd ignition with control box. 9.1 comp, .420/433-204/214 -107 spec cam. cast Iron heads stainless vales 2.02/1.60

Nice, that'd be a fun project!

Can your heads (intake/exhaust runners), headers/cat(s), muffler(s), and pipes flow enough? You don't have to worry about emissions, right?

I just Received a responce with same Question to Edelbrock. They say kit will not work in Truck.
So back to looking for marine intake

You could run an 0411 for the controller. Just buy the intake, injectors, and fuel rails. I know a guy on the hp tuners forum that put a different edelbrock intake on his 350 and used an 0411. Only thing is you need a good tuner.

Could get a Ramjet intake too. I could swear I already replied to this. Why so little lift on the cam? Is this a duplicate or am I confusing it with another post?
