Hi, I have a Blazer with a dead 4L60 and very tired motor so got to think about an upgrade. Came across a 2002 2500HD Silverado with a Duramax/Alison combination so have shortened the frame to fit the Blazer body but set the front axle forward 3.5" to give a 114" wheelbase so I can fit 37's with a small lift. Have got most of the bodywork re shaped to give clearance and am near ready to produce molds for a 1 piece front and quarter panels.
Would be interested to hear if anyone else has done something similar or is considering it.

Will post some pictures of the bodywork as I go, the fenders are flared 5" to accommodate the wider track and 13.50 tires.
