I just replaced mine, along with the tail lights. I bought mine @ Orilys because my truck is my daily driver. ey have been in for about 2 weeks now, with no issues.I could not wait for mail order. That being said, mine are Dorman. They are a lot less on line that what I paid. IDK if you can still get the OE GM ones @ the dealer. They have been in for about 2 weeks now with no issues. Also the new tail lights lens look grate, and are much brighter. Sorry, I have not taken a pic of them yet.

The factory GM/ACDelco circuit boards are still available if you want to pay the premium. They're around $40 per side. Part numbers 16511565 (driver's side) and 16511566 (passenger side).

A big **** you to Dorman boards. I went through 4 sets in a month. TYC boards from rockauto. I think I paid $12 for both. Been on there for a few years now. No issues whatsoever.

Like I said, so far, so good, and I did not want to fool with mail order. I hope I dont have issues in the future with these boards.

I tried several boards, even the US made Globrites, and I had issues until I got a set from O'Reilly....Dorman, I think.

Both gm versions didn't work for me.

Rockauto... body, tail light connector plate. That's for my truck with the newer flat socket bulbs. I have no idea if the round socket plates are still made.

Aftermarket parts are schit. I just go around looking for the cleanest trucks I can find at yards and then liberating them of their taillight boards. I use a multimeter to check the sockets and my eye balls to spot excessive corrosion. If those two things check out, the boards go home with me. I've got two years on the junkyard boards I put on my '89. Granted, they're blade style bulbs now but the twist style socket boards were an even poorer design that pretty much rotted out instantly.
