My son has a '97 Silverado w/ 4.3L, we swapped it for a '98 Suburban 5.7L Engine and Harness, Now that its installed, Runs good, but we have no brake lights, all other lights work just fine (Parking/ Reverse, etc). Comparing our original Silverado Harness/ Fuse Box to the swapped Suburban Harness/ Fuse box, it looks identical but the Suburban has the cutouts for the Brake Relay and Fuse in the under the hood Fuse box, but it don't have the pins in it like the Silverado Fuse box does. Anyone run into this issue and have a fix for it, without having to reinstall the original V6 harness and mod it for a V8.
Curious how the Suburban had Brake lights unless they had a relay/ fuse mounted elsewhere.
