you can decrank some, not sure how much, then they sell lowering keys, and I heard 3/4 ton keys will lower a 1/2 ton.

If 3/4 ton keys lower a 1/2 ton, what would make you think 1/2 ton keys would lower a 3/4 ton? If anything, I'd expect them to raise it...

im worried about buying a set of 1500 keys and having them not work. i guess worst case i return them. I bought the 1500 flip kit.. MY MISTAKE should have bought the 454 kit to fit my rear axle. but I cut it, and re welded the housing and made it work. Its the little things i tend to overlook so am just trying to get my parts straight on what will fit where.

^ I agree. My dad and I did a side by side comparison of the two keys when we did the ifs swap and they were exactly the same. I didn’t see a difference.

Decranking a truck? Blasphemy! More on topic, I noticed my 1500 and 3500 keys were indeed clocked differently. They were numbered as well, I ASSume to denote their clocked positions.
