While I tend to lean more towards name brand stuff, I picked up a cheap boss amp maybe 8 years ago. It still works good and no problems outta it. I wouldn't use their decks though.

Then it's going to be really hard to recommend a specific amp... I would do your best to figure that out.

I agree that would help.

But if you can't find any ratings then it'd probably not be a great idea to grab some 4k watt amp and throw at them. My audiobahn is good for around 800 watts and I've got like 300 going to it. I don't want or need to wake up the neighborhood just add a little depth to the system.

You'll also need to know the number of voice coils and their impedance. That's honestly a lot more important than the RMS power ratings. If you wire them up incorrectly based on bad info (for example, trying to run a two ohm load on an amplifier that's only stable at four ohms) you'll fry something pretty quick. You can check voice coil impedance with a multimeter yourself, though.

OK! Now we've got something to work with. So you have two woofers that will handle 500W RMS each, with dual two ohm voice coils. The long and short of it is that you'll want to look for a mono amplifier that's stable at two ohms, somewhere in the neighborhood of 1000W RMS.

The Alpine X-A90M would be an excellent choice. 900W RMS at two ohms.

And you'll want to wire them up like this to present a two ohm load to the amplifier. Which it looks like they already are judging by your picture of the wiring terminals.
