Thanks. It did go smoothly. I had to give the injectors a love tap to get them to flow, but afterward it roared to life. Runs great so far

Hey, that's good news! are you noticing better response and power over the original motor???

Just for giggles, I did the "ultimate tbi mods" and put a kit in my tbi over the weekend. I bought a parts truck last summer that has a stuck motor, but it had a tbi spacer, a "Tornado" air whizzermajig, and headers(cracked all over, junk). I bought a fuel psi gauge kit a long time ago, so I put that on, and I brazed a nut on the bottom of the regulator and put a bolt in it to make it adjustable. Anyway, I noticed quite a difference in response and power. :peace:

It really does run great. I still can't believe after all the wire hacking and best guess installation this thing started with as little effort as can be imagined, and with no adjustment to timing yet. I've only ran it around the block a few times wrapping the rpms to 2500 and letting it slow itself down to break-in the rings. I can't speak to how it'll do on the street yet, it'll be a few months before it gets there, but it would spin the tires in third if I stayed on the gas.

Any new leads on where to get chips ? Besides jet and hypertec?

I just installed my EBL Flash-II and did some learn and flashes. It tunes itself and, with a WBO2, will tune WOT too. I'm gonna do that next week. Anyway, for $410 and my old 1227747 ECM I can tune anytime I want, especially if I change any bolt-ons or add a supercharger (it does up to 3 Bar boost too)

Guys has anyone switched to a TPI intake?? I read nearly everywhere that these intakes are good for around 30% more HP, Torque and MPG in a mild or stock SBC under 5000 RPMs. I have been running Ford (I know sorry) 2000 Mercury Grans Marques and now a 03 Crown Vic ex-cop car and OMG these LITTLE 281CC 4.6 Fords haul ass...and they are running Ford's copy of Chevy's TIP intake...and my 2000 was able to get 27/30MPG at 65MPH with 327 gears and with a tweaked 16.4 A/F ratio I could get 35MPG at 65MPH, problem was I could find no one to set up a highway mode in its PCM.

I also have a great 93 Chevy G20 custom van with a frozen motor from a lost oil line that I am building a nice Low RPM motor for it and plan on running a Camaro TPI with the EBL add on card. So second question is what years and PCMs was the Highway Mode hidden in?

Not sure you need an "add on card", check with @BobR@dynamicefi.com, you'll need to keep your PCM for trans control. I've been having fun with my 88 TBI and learning a bunch. Getting close to what I'm looking for, 1HP/Cube.
