Sup guys first off thanks for checking this out any help y’all could give me would be much appreciated I’m a new guy and I’m still pretty unfamiliar with how to use this forum still..

I have a few questions on lowering a Tahoe it’s a 95 4door with a 5/8 ish static drop it’s been step notched also tubbed in the front and in the very early stages of getting Tubbed in the rear as you could imagine the floor pan is missing for the most part my question is what do people do about the gas filler neck? is there a way to move it or modify it so it clears the diff? I know I can go with a fuel cell or go with a gas tank from a two door that’ll sit where my spare tire sat..I’d really Rather keep my stock tank in the stock location just modify the neck somehow if at all possible..my next question is the rear Tubs I have the tubs and doghouse already so I have a way to cover what I’ve taken out cleanly, I just don’t know what to do about the rear seat belt mounting point that are about 4 inches above the stock tubs I don’t want to relocate them for safetys sake..does anybody have any pictures of rear tubs on a four door tahoe? To give you a visual of what I’m looking for, I’m wanting to keep the plastic trim peices just cut them cleanly to clear the tubs and once the tubs and doghouse are welded in im doing either stock style carpet over all of it or rhino lining it..again any help I get would be appreciated no smart ***** saying they don’t like lowered trucks the thread title clearly says “lowering questions” not “lowering opinions” lol thanks again guys

UPDATE: I got a two door tahoe gas tank and put it where my spare tire was so that fixed my gas tank issue and as far as the tubs go I’ve came to the conclusion ima have to have some custom tubs made because of the back seat being too close for full blown tubs and the fact that I’m choosing to keep the stock seat belt mounting points so they’re gonna have to be shortys as well...I hadn’t thought about moving the back seat forward but it seems like a legit theory if your willing to put in the work

It’s been a constant headache and alot of cussing but it’s paying off..I REEEAAALLLY thought there was more static low four doors out there but the more I search the more it’s becoming clear that almost nobody is making these low..and that’s actually kinda cool..I definitely don’t mind being the only kid on the block that’s going stupid low without bags..as of now it’s tubbed Step Notched relocated shocks and channeled cab and two door gas tank just to tuck front and back tire. It gets alot of attention but to be completely honest I’ll never build another one

Nice build bro! I guess we’re the only four door guys..how low are you planning on going with yours and what wheel setup are you gonna run with?
right now im about a 5-8. Really wanted to run my 24s but gunna keep the 15s with the white walls for now so I dont have to tub. could I see some pictures of your step notch and where you relocated the shocks? and anything i should know before converting to a 2dr gas tank?

That looks really good, i want to get mine down like that if i don't sell it, but i know the amount of work involved getting it down so low, it was so much easier on the 97 pick up i had.
