I remember when I had a 69 Plymouth GTX I built in the 70's. Had a tri-power set up with progessive linkage, an Isky 320 cam, dual point distributor, long tube headers, and T-Bird resonators. I spent more time "tuning" it than driving the damn thing, LOL.

TBI is way easier!

I understand what everyone is saying but this is my secondary truck and I have other plans for performance but that’s where I want to start because I have almost everything to do it . I’m not a mechanic SuperDave but I understand what does what and the benefits of each . I appreciate everyone’s advice . I’m not concerned with cold mornings and gas mileage . I like the look of a carb and simplicity like Bubba said . I will check out the other throttle bodies though . Thanks y’all

Nothing comes with a carburetor these days, Even my zero turn mower has fuel injection. Must be a reason why

Pick your favorite holley, probably 650cfm range, don't forget to address the throttle position sensor for the transmission if you have a 4l60e (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...gr5HpOBWyA8whE7520CSD-voxI22FeQhoC2NkQAvD_BwE). Otherwise you'll fry that transmission in no time flat. I personally like FST carbs.
