I was prepared to pay freight shipping on a 454SS rear axle a few months back so I'm no stranger to expensive shipping. What you said about the fragile nature of the dash and how you would pack it is reassuring, to be honest. If Dre319 wants it then I'm not going to mess that up for him, but if it falls through for whatever reason I'd definitely appreciate the estimate to ship it to me.

He pm'd me.ill let you know if he passes on it...during my time as a corn shucking no coast dweller I drove from Iowa city IA to Nebraska city NE to pick up a 454ss rear end.rebuilt it and painted it glossy black for the limited, but unlike the dash the axle is sitting in my garage still waiting to be installed all these years later...

Lol. Trust me I’m in need of it badly. This truck is going to be given to my son and I’m trying to. Ring it back to its original self.

I am very much interested in the 98 dash. Just waiting to figure out the details from Tahoe.

Tempting, as it is currently just being used to hold coils of air hose.
I can't even remember what I paid for it to tell you the truth.

Ill get some pictures and try to weigh/measure it for shipping tomorrow after work

If you're serious please PM me, I've been searching for one for quite a while. What carrier and gears did you put in it?

Trust me, I know it. Just keep me posted. I promise I'll give it a good home in my red '97 if you do decide to get rid of it!
