So I still have this lift kit that I pulled off of a Suburban or Tahoe at the junkyard the shocks on it were Rancho RS 5244 in front but they were toast and rear ones were already missing I'm not even sure if they're the right ones but I need to get a ballpark idea of what size shocks I need to order for when I put this on my 97 Z71 I'm aware that I can go out there and measure it and screw around and do all that but this is a pretty common lift kit so I'm wondering what all size shocks you guys are running on your 6 inch lift save me the headache of experimenting with expensive shocks that are the wrong length
Heres pics of the lift kit. Its been discontinued.

I'm mostly trying to get an idea of the length of shock fully extended and compressed I have bilstein's on my diesel trucks and I certainly don't want to pay for those again

Umm. What? Bilsteins are undeniably the best shocks you can get for gmt400s. I've never heard anybody put them down.

Let me rephrase that. I'm not asking what shocks are best I'm asking what length extended and compressed will I need with a old 6 inch bds lift kit.
I have some weird Edelbrock shocks on it now.
To install my lift I just want to know size.
