1997 Tahoe BBP tuned PCM?

I received my tuned PCM from BBP this evening after my recent motor rebuild. I installed it and noticed the SEL doesn't come on when the key is first switched on, is this normal? I also checked for codes after the install and had one for EEprom memory low performance, I cleared the code but haven't re-checked it yet. I have ran the tuned PCM for about 60 miles now and it night/day difference in performance. Throttle response is 100% better, idle is smoother, shift points are better and smoother, greater power in the mid-range power band with better response in the higher RPMS. Overall, I'm very pleased with the performance tune and not bashing BBP at all. These are just a couple ?'s I have at this time because their tech support is closed over the weekend and I just need some advise/knowledge on the BBP tuned PCM's.

I'd check the key-on service engine light for you but my Black Bear tuned truck is in storage right now, sorry. I never paid close enough attention to remember exactly what the dash lights do on start-up.

I never got any codes from changing the PCMs out in my '97. What year is your truck?

1997. I just went and rechecked for codes and none have reappeared so far. Thanks for the response.
